I can't wait to see Kiera in that hat that you sent with Matthew (although she won't get it right away because Akeiko seems to be in Vancouver this week!). I haven't seen it yet, the hat...is it one you made?
ah yeah...i left it to your sweetie to choose one for kiera, and he selected one of the dr suessy ones. as my niece alannah says..."the ones that look like their meant for whos from whoville."
good for cooler fall weather.
looking forward to seeing you on pender, mira... for some apres camp r+r :) it'd be a delight to get to see all those cool workshops in full swing...maybe i'll try to come towards the end of the week for a half day glimpse in or something... :)
Yes, Kimberley, come visit next week! Anytime, although if you want to catch a glimpse at the workshops, they are running 9am-12pm Wednesday-Saturday. Why don't you stop in for the weekend, and stay for the Vespers and Liturgy? There is room for a night's stay in my little room- on the extra bunk- just bring a sleeping bag. It would be so fun, and you would get to be there for some of the most fun-the last workshop, the great big group game on the last day, the big Canadian dinner followed by the sock-hop/dance...and then on Sunday: Divine Liturgy!, Brunch, and watch the movie made by the movie workshop kids.
If you come on the weekend, you are also invited to our apres-camp World Cup party at All Saints. Fr John rented a 52 inch HDTV, and we are taking a ferry back from camp, getting to All Saints by 6:30 pm on Sunday, and watching a taped version of the World Cup Finals at the church. You could either catch a late ferry back to Vancouver on Sunday night, or sleep over at my place and catch a morning ferry (I am heading to the ferries that day in the am to go back to Pender, so it would be no problem getting you there).
