I love that picture. Looks like I'm distracted with something. Either your shoes, maybe one of the barn cats, or one of those crazy 'praying mantises' we used to see around there.

Fun! Thanks for sharing. I love "old" family shots like this. It makes me all the more excited to see my own family soon.

matt, my guess is just seconds before this picture was snapped you probably were swinging a barncat by it's tail...a favorite pasttime of yours as a 2yr old...gramma's talking you into standing still with the mention of an extra 16L bucket of bubble gum ice cream she found in the bottom of her deepfreeze. :)

That's cool you saw mom out there, Vic. There's pretty much just the one corner store hey :) ... she was probably just stopping by to get each of the horses: kitkats and slurpees. Like my gram, she's all about the treats.

Which days will you be in Vancouver, Stacy?

Hey do you remeber the thrill of bubble gum ice cream when it was first introduced? It was the two treats in one! Ice Cream! Bubble Gum! Oh my goodness, too much bounty to fully comprehend.
I remenber thinking that if i was careful I could store all the bubble gum in my cheek to savor a a huge wad latter on. Sadly it never worked out that way -sigh
